with communities through Play it Forward- Soccer Program, we continue to provide sustainable change for children, families and various communities
around the world and our own backyard.
Through our Leadership and Mentoring program, we support the coaches in communities by sharing the value of mentorship and leadership. The loyality and pride that all individuals must adapt on their teams, be a positive role model for younger players, and volunteering time.
We understand the cycle of poverty and how a positive role model is able to support young players on and off the field. From going to school and receiving an educations to knowing their rights as girl within young arranged marriages and boys being forced into conflict, we work to empower others.
The right to education is a fundamental human right to each and every child. Did you know that 61 million children do not have access to basic education and 758 million adults in the world are illiterate because they were not given proper education? Every individual, irrespective of race, gender, nationality, ethnic and social origin, religion or political preference, age or disability, is entitled to an education.
Education is a fundamental right and essential and must exercise their rights. It promotes individual freedom and empowerment and development benefits. Chance to Play sees education as a powerful tool by which economically and socially marginalized adults and children can provide better opportunities to get out of poverty and be active citizens.
