KEVIN WITHERS

My name is Kevin Withers and if I’ve learned anything in my travels, it’s that kids love soccer!  Even in the most destitute villages I’ve found kids kicking around whatever they can get a hold of – balled up plastic bags, tightly bound rags, you name it.  I saw a Chance to Play booth at one of my daughter’s games and loved the idea.  I was wondering what to do with all of this perfectly good equipment that my daughter has outgrown, then I pictured how some of these places I’ve visited would react with actual jerseys and decent equipment.  I can’t even imagine the level of excitement – I’d love to be there one day when a Chance to Play shipment arrives!
