NOAH & ISABELLA

Brother and Sister Team

Our names are Noah and Isabella Bousada, and we are high school students from King City, Ontario. We came across Chance to Play when researching charities that have a significant impact on other children. When we read that Chance to Play collects old sports uniforms, we found this was a perfect opportunity to get rid of the piles we had in our closet, as well as have a direct impact on underprivileged youth. We loved the fact that we were collecting more than just money, and that anybody could donate to this charity.

We also collected clothing from family, friends, and classmates, and made sure to inform all of the contributors about the difference they were making on lives of others all around the world. We started making piles of equipment in our basement, where we would later organize each item by type of equipment, colour and size. We were extremely pleased with the outcome, and were able to raise around 700 items of equipment. In order to raise funds to cover the cost of shipping the equipment to underprivileged children, we held a shoe-shine at our school, where all funds went to Chance to Play. Through this amazing charity, we, as well as our community, were given an opportunity to make real change in the world.
